Nowadays, most people choose to work in an office instead of finding freelance work at home or home based jobs to earn a living. Few are considering to work at home because of several conflicts like they have kids to take care of or other personal reasons that are a hindrance to work in a corporate world.
In my own personal experience, I would rather work in an office first to gain a lot of work experiences to build up resume and career. After that, based from the experiences and skills I have earned, I’m ready to take another path which is to work at home and build my career.
Here are the advantages of working from home versus corporate office:

- Flexible time schedule
- Learn to be more independent and resourceful
- Earn a lot compared to office work
Office Work
- Have vacation and sick paid leaves
- Yearly or quarterly bonuses
- Social engagement with co-workers
- Company training and outing
It’s up to you which path you’ll take.
